With a desktop PC installed with appropriate viewers (e.g. Microsoft Windows Media Player) , users can view programmes of the selected Cable TV channels on real time basis.However, according to the terms of the contract with the cable television provider, access to the CU Net-TV is restricted to on-campus users only.
Like all other network services, IP addresses of all access to CU Net-TV will be logged by the server for auditing and security purposes. ITSC shall not trace the IP address to the actual user, except in cases where there is violation of the general Network Acceptable Use Policy (sections 1.2, 1.3 and 4), or when there is a legitimate request or order from the authority to inspect such data.
